On August 2nd and 3rd, our junior high school third graders went on a campus tour in the Kansai area. On the first day, we visited Kindai University's Faculty of Biology-Orientated Science and Technology where we did such things as making perfume from a variety of natural ingredients or using the latest technology to practice giving a patient an injection.
On August 3rd, in the morning we stopped at the main Kindai campus for a quick tour and lecture about the university. Later that morning, Class 3-4 visited Osaka University and spent some time visiting its museum. The other classes visited the Disaster Reduction and Human Renovation Institute in Kobe. We all enjoyed learning about and experiencing something different and the trip was a good chance to think about what we want to study at university in the future!
